Position: Vice President, Sales

DeliverCareRx has an outstanding opportunity for the key position of Vice President Sales for our fast growing national home delivery pharmacy. Working closely with the executive management team, this newly created position will play an important role in establishing and expanding field sales to various health care organizations. This dynamic and highly qualified sales professional will develop, establish, hire and launch a best in class sales organization driving demand for home delivery pharmacy services from coordinated care entities, MCOs, clinics/FQHCs, associations, hospital groups, clinics, mobile health care providers, caregivers/nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, among others. This executive will have strong health care experience, play a leadership role within the organization and make a critical contribution to our sales and revenue success in the future.  This position reports to the CEO.

DeliverCareRx is a licensed innovative home delivery pharmacy, currently serving patients in 7 Midwestern states taking 5+ scripts. We are rapidly growing into an additional 15 states in 2015 and are looking for entrepreneurial leaders with high levels of empathy, innovation spirit and integrity. The company is focused on improving medication management process for consumers through coordination of health care providers, Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance plans.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the strategic sales/revenue plan, including development and implementation of sales plan, as well as management of relationships with partner sources for end user patient clients;
  • Drive growth through identifying and developing additional new sources for patients, and working in concert with the Chief Marketing Officer to implement relevant strategies for accessing those patient target segments;
  • Follow up on prospects, successfully negotiate and acquire new clients as well as expand our existing relationships
  • Build a small business/start up into a larger company
  • Expertly position the DCRx brand at the core of sales, delivering one company/one voice to all sales tactics consistently
  • Work with existing partner sources to plan and execute all phases of data collection from end user patient clients and targets;
  • Coordinate with the COO and the internal pharmacy operations and Customer Care teams to plan the implementation, data processing, and order fulfillment to existing and potential end user patient clients;
  • Report back to the CEO on the implementation plan goals and tracking plans against these goals;
  • Create a sales strategy and replicate-able sales process/program for the company, to include actions, accountabilities and metrics.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, with an advanced degree (MBA) preferred;
  • Proven track record in health related sales program design, implementation and client management;
  • Proven sales performance in healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
  • At least 15 years experience in sales and account management positions, with experience selling and managing accounts within medical groups, clinics, or health insurance companies;
  • Expert in contacting and contract development and closing
  • Proficient with SalesForce and the use of various analytical tools
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills; with proven ability to analyze complex market opportunities and develop creative solutions to a wide variety of unique market problems
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time; Proven ability to work in a satellite office or home based;
